Fall 2008 Book Discussion Thursday evenings 7 – 8:30 p.m. and Wednesday afternoons 1:30 – 3 p.m. at The Portage County Public Library 1001 Main Street Stevens Point

All Are Welcome

Bring your ideas and thoughts. The discussion will be facilitated by Jack Faulkner-Becker of the library staff. There will be no formal introductory talk or lecture, but there will be plenty of time for exchanging ideas.

Sept. 17, 1:30 p.m. and Sept. 18, 7:00 p.m.
Stones from the River by Ursula Hegi

Oct. 15, 1:30 p.m. and Oct. 16, 7:00 p.m.
Life of Pi by Yann Martel

Nov. 19, 1:30 p.m. and Nov. 20, 7:00 p.m.
Last Report on the Miracles at Little No Horse by Louise Erdrich

Dec 17, 1:30 p.m. and Dec. 18, 7:00 p.m.
Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon

Multiple copies of each book will be available at the Circulation Desk three weeks prior to each discussion.

Books to be discussed in future sessions will be determined by the consensus of the people who attend the first meetings.
