2. ®Acrobat Reader: All E-Reserve documents, and many other Web resources will be delivered in "PDF" format, which allows you to read or print a copy of the document in the same format and pagination as the original material. If you do not already have Adobe's free ®Acrobat Reader to view .pdf files, click here to download and install the software: How to download and install ®Acrobat Reader
3. Browsers: To maximize your use of our services, you must have Internet Explorer (version 5.0 or higher) or Netscape Communicator (version 6.0 or higher). Many of our resources require an authentication process. Earlier versions of Internet Explorer or Netscape Communicator do not have this capability.
How do I determine my browser's version? (click on the text for instructions)
4. Configure your browser for maximum viewing. In order to view the complete content of many of our resources, you must set the options on Internet Explorer or Netscape Communicator to enable JavaScript and auto load images.
5. Internet Service Provider and 28.8+ Connection. Many of our licensed resources are provided through links established by Internet Service Providers (ISP's) "registered" with the State of Wisconsin's BadgerLink Project. Click here for a list of those ISP's. We recommend that you subscribe to one of these service providers in order to guarantee that you will be able to receive all of our databases. We also recommend that you install a minimum of a 28.8kbps (28,000 kilobits per second) modem and subscribe to a service that will guarantee that minimum connection speed.
